Whiphid

Whiphids are carnivorous predators who relish the thrill of the hunt. Despite their formidable nature, they are generally known for their calm and easygoing demeanor, often assessing whether an individual poses a threat—or is considered prey—before deciding how to interact with them.

Native to the icy world of Toola, Whiphids traditionally live in nomadic tribes composed of three to ten families. During the harsh winter months, these tribes migrate across the frozen landscape in pursuit of food sources. In the warmer seasons, they establish more permanent settlements, returning to the same locations each year as part of their seasonal cycle.

Whiphids became integrated into galactic society when technologically advanced species arrived on Toola to harvest its vast ice resources. Some Whiphids chose to leave their homeworld alongside these outsiders, eventually building reputations throughout the galaxy as skilled mercenaries and formidable bounty hunters.
